Microsoft Sticky Sorter for Affinity Diagramming
Microsoft has released Sticky Sorter which was created by a couple of employees as a side project as a way to improve their work flow which involves a great deal of affinity diagramming. In a nutshell, the free software allows groups of people to create sticky notes that can be grouped and sorted. Best of all, you can share these notes with others as well as import and export them from other programs such as Excel or Access.

Blog post which explains how they came up with the idea and much more. I think it’s a great app that’s long over due. I’ve tried many of the existing sticky note apps out there but none have ever done as much as this one.
This tool can be useful for all kinds of people and projects. I think writers will love the ability to manage all of their chapters and characters with this app. Event planners will also love being able to organize all of the many details involved in launching an event. The list is endless for who could use this great and free application from Microsoft.
